In the tradition of the Patron of my mother land, Catalonia, every 23 of April since the Century XV for St. Jordi/ St. George, the sweethearts around Catalonia exchange a gift to their loves, so men gives to their women a red rose and women gives to their men a book as a sign of love..
All the balconies are decorated with the Catalan flag (La Senyera) and the main streets of Catalonia have plenty of stalls selling books and roses...
Even I'm currently living in Australia I like to share and celebrate this beautiful tradition with my husband year after year doesn't matter how far we are from home..
